Our Programs

At the heart of what we do at Empowerment Lab is youth mentoring, pairing middle school students diagnosed with learning and attention issues, with adults who have similar learning profiles. This model has been proven to be effective in empowering students with learning differences to reach their full potential, and produce positive life outcomes. Youth not only can see what is possible in their future, but more importantly, they will find their community of like-minded individuals. Through mentorship, middle school students at Empowerment Lab engage in recreational activities, such as ping pong, art, music, or whatever they can dream up….this after school community center is designed by the youth themselves…both the space and the programming.
